David Bravo

Having moved to Austin in 1983, David Bravo has seen the growth and change that has become Austin as it is today. Although at first undecided as to what to study in college, a friend told him that art and architecture crossed into the field of interior design. He found his calling in the design industry, and has been studying and practicing interior design ever since.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, David began his career in the design industry and worked his way through high end furniture stores for many years. However, in 2006 he decided it was time to establish his own interior design firm. Flourishing as a top designer in the Austin area, David has gathered an impressive portfolio of both residential and commercial projects ranging from Old World to soft Contemporary.

Although the draw to beautiful furnishings is always alluring to an interior designer, David also has true admiration and a love of custom finish products for construction projects. He has used his many talents and expertise to design award-winning custom cabinetry, as well as designing unusual and custom tile work for many beautiful homes in the Austin area. David has also been involved with projects across the country including Las Vegas, San Diego, and Idaho. Because of his desire to work with clients from a blue print stage, through to the final finishes, David created an innovative company which allows him the opportunity for the staff of Bravo Interior Design, to achieve all of these goals.

Meredith Owen Hastings

A passion for beautiful spaces and a creative eye led Meredith Owen to her career in design. Upon graduating from Texas State University in 2005, with a B.S.F.C.S. Degree in Interior Design, she began working with David Bravo as his assistant designer.

Meredith has assisted David with many high end residential projects, including two parade homes. Early on, she discovered her true passion was designing custom draperies and bedding. She now designs custom drapery, pillows, table runners, adult, child, and baby bedding for her clients. Meredith believes every home should reflect her client and no two spaces should be alike.

One of Meredith's favorite parts of business is striving to create unique, inviting spaces that reflect her client's needs, while capturing their personalities. Meredith has always had a love for people and enjoys getting to know her client's and their families; she feels that every client becomes part of "The Bravo Family". With an ever growing clientele at Bravo Interior Design, Meredith has been able to combine her two favorite passions: people and design.

Check back soon to see "Meredith's Corner", which will be a blog spot that will include the latest sales going on from New York all the way down to Austin, special accessory finds, the latest design trends, and custom bedding and pillows for sale designed by Meredith Owen.

Frederick S. Yandrisovitz

Upon realizing his great deal of respect and appreciation for the perfection, detail, and preciseness of a fresh set of drawings, Frederick S. Yandrisovitz began contemplating a career in Architecture/Interior Design. He began by learning the now "dying art" of hand drafting when he was 15 years old. While concentrating most of his interest on architecture, he soon advanced and began using the computer-aided design program, AutoCAD Release 9. As time progressed, so did Frederick's knowledge and interests. He set in motion a personal goal to learn as much about construction as he knew about design. He worked on site, and with hands-on experience he learned the many trades involved in a project. By the end of high school, he knew that he wanted to pursue an education in the design field.

Frederick received his formal education from South West Texas State University (Texas State University) in San Marcos, Texas. He enrolled and declared his major to be Interior Design. Although registered and

attending classes, he also continued to work in the "contracting or construction" industry to support his financial requirements. Coinciding with his college education, the work experience Frederick continued to acquire spanned from carpentry, electrical, and plumbing, to being a Project Supervisor of a major job site; making way for a well rounded designer. In addition to his major, he also minored in Art, as well as Technology. Studying the history of furnishings, architecture, art/music, and furniture design/construction, Frederick has found that he incorporates and uses his knowledge in design every day.

Frederick has won past awards for the first place design of trade show booths at the annual Texas Apartment Association conventions. Upon completion of his degree in 2007, he accepted a major role with an award-winning design firm in Austin, Texas; Bravo Interior Design, LLC.
